SwordsVale is an online MMORPG that first shows up in the chapter Local Area.[1]

The game has quests,[2] raids,[3] PVP options, and customizable characters,[4] as well as both public and private servers.
There has been one in-game festival referenced: the Crimsonflame Festival.[5] There is an implication that festivals and other in-game events are held regularly.
Stacey, Abbey, Sue, and Amaya have a group together, which Mike later joins[6] as a flower mage. The characters usually play on a private server, though Mike has played on a public server exactly once.[7] They also meet in-person once a month to discuss strategy.[8] They will regularly meet at school as well, though Stacey avoids the others because she doesn't want to look like a loser.[9]
Everyone has dressed up as their characters exactly once in the comic, to go to a convention,[10] though Mike skipped on dressing up as his mage character.
