Synopsis
Paulo brandishes a water pistol in the park and declares a water gun fight, claiming David for his team. Daisy wants no part of it, and the moment Paulo starts counting to ten she bolts, screaming, until she spots Mike and Lucy walking by and latches onto Mike with a desperate "JOIN MY TEAM!!"[1]
Paulo cheerfully assigns them both to Daisy's team, then leans in to share the real plan with David. Lucy is famously terrified of water, which should make her an easy target, and besides, "a wet Lucy would be pretty hot." That settles it, and David is a true believer.[2]
The ambush starts perfectly, with Paulo stalking through the trees, calling out Lucy's name and blasting her point-blank in the face, grinning. Then, for a long moment, nothing happens at all, as Paulo stays frozen mid-grin and Lucy stands drenched with her eyes clenched shut, until eventually he manages a weak ".. You're okay with this?"[3]
Lucy answers by grabbing Paulo by the mouth with a "CRUNCH", poking the water gun into it and firing, which leaves Paulo flat on his back with his eyes glazed over. David could not be happier with the outcome, since as far as he can tell, "She's cured!"[3]
