Synopsis
Daisy has just been rejected by Mike at the carnival, and Augustus has cornered her; this time, with no Abyssinian to get in his way.[1] He kisses Daisy, who doesn't fight him off, and then pulls away, expecting her to say something. What he didn't plan on was Daisy calling him out on his methods - why make a plan to win her over? Why not just talk to her? Daisy chastises Augustus for playing games, and when Augustus runs out of ways to defend his actions, he runs. Daisy's hunt to get answers from a tight-lipped, coat wearing creep begins.
